Tonight I'm going Under the Radar at the legendary Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Since opening in March of 1976, this 1.5 million square foot giant was a retail powerhouse, but now it’s a dark, empty shell waiting for a $1 billion redevelopment.
I’m stealth camping on the grounds in my black truck during a total blackout and a massive Michigan rainstorm. From the frozen pond to the rusted perimeter, I’m testing my gear and my nerves to see if I can stay undetected all night long.
