Описание: Interview with one of my all time musical heroes Barry Andrews (Shriekback/XTC). This one meant a great deal to me, I thank him for being so generous with his time. I only started blubbering like a fan girl a few times. We start by shouting out Ashes Fallen and Marcy Angeles. Talk about his history in music. How making music is like tending an English garden. The cleverness of lyrics and classical reference. Where do the ideas for Karl and his lyrics come from. We then go through several songs on the new album "Monument" to explore themes and technical delivery. We shout out Phillip Larkin. We talk about the Sisters of Mercy. The ups and downs of collaboration in music and art. What does the future hold? A great take on the human tendency to get lost in nostalgia. How Shriekback inspired so many modern artists. We spin out to the track "Idiot Dancing" . This will definitely go down as one of my most personally important interviews.
