The client for this residential landscape project being an avid nature lover, required a green oasis to resort to in-between his busy daily routines. As the existing garden space was limited in size and presented many functional issues, the design first opted for a rooftop garden followed by the acquisition of the adjoining land to expand the garden space.

With the new garden space, a service block, a swimming pool with a deck, a visitor parking area, lawn and gravel paved areas, and a bamboo thicket were introduced. Further, a flexible outdoor space was created at the rear, an intervention that linked the indoors with the outdoors.

The rooftop garden, a space designed to host gatherings and entertaining events with scenic views of the surroundings, features a lotus pond and a deck area with outdoor furniture arrangements. One of the striking features of the scheme, the glass elevator, seamlessly connects the new landscaped space with the rooftop garden allowing one to navigate between the two gardens with ease.
