The FLIR Lepton 2.5 thermal imager is an infrared camera capable of sensing infrared radiation in an array and sending measurements over a SPI connection. It has a resolution of 80 x 60 pixels and detects radiation in the 8 to 14 micrometer range. The dev kit comes with the camera module and breakout board to get you started measuring scene temperature, and the Smart I/O Board is useful for connecting the module to a computer over a USB connection.
