Please note, with the breeding season well under way there are many baby fledgling birds around, if you find a baby bird, leave well alone, it's parents will return as soon as you leave.
If you are convinced the bird is in imminent danger then call your local wildlife rescue and seek advice.
Only attempt to hand rear as a final option, and only do so if you have experience hand rearing and releasing wild birds.
This guide is suitable for all small insectivorous diet fledglings (baby birds fed a diet of mainly insects, caterpillars and grubs) such as blue tit, great tit, long tailed tit, coal tit, robin, dunnock, house martin, swallow.
If you find an injured bird seek veterinary advise immediately.
