Comments in Response to the Law and Order SVU/Tyson Controversy and Views of Co-Hosts on "The View"

This informal video (spoken from the heart) relates to the NBC Law and Order SVU/Tyson casting controversy -- said episode to air Feb. 6, and is addressed to ABC's "The View" in response to certain comments they made about the controversy. I want to be clear that while I am upset with NBC.SVU, this is NOT directed towards Mariska Hargitay or her wonderful organization, Joyful Heart Foundation. I support the JHF (includng with my donations) and will continue to do so, as I do other worthy non-profits who work to address and end sexual assault, child abuse/sexual abuse, and domestic violence. (This was recorded by me the early evening of Feb. 4 and was changed to MP4 format and posted on Feb. 5. Please excuse the quality of the video and any errors within.) @BridgetteRodrig

Bridgette Rodriguez 2/7/13 The preliminary ratings for SVU for the Mike Tyson episode were DOWN! Yes, apparently more boycotted SVU then they drew in by their insensitive stunt casting. I will not watch SVU again, in the best tradition of the American boycott. Should they apologize publicly, and it seems real and not contrived, I may, may reconsider. FYI, TVbythenumbers.com has the ratings. For NBC last night, they wrote: "...ON NBC, Whitney earned a 1.2 , down 8 percent from last week's 1.3 adults 18-49 rating. Guys With Kids scored a 1,.2, up 9 percent from last week's 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. Law & Order SVU, featuring controversial guest star Mike Tyson, garnered a 1.5, down 12 percent from last week's 1.7. Chicago Fire notched a 1.8, down 14 percent from last week's 2.1. The majority of you accurately predicted that Chicago Fire would beat Nashville..."
