"The Delhi liquor scam case continues to stir the political landscape, with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and BRS MLC Kavitha being previously arrested. In a recent development, the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi delivered a shocking verdict on Kavitha's interim bail petition, rejecting it outright. Kavitha had filed for bail citing her son's exams as a reason. Her lawyer, Abhishek Singhvi, presented the arguments on her behalf. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) argued against granting bail, claiming it would lead to tampering with evidence and that Kavitha had intimidated an approver. The court dismissed the interim bail petition. Kavitha has been in Tihar Jail since March 26, following her arrest. Her judicial remand is set to expire tomorrow.
