Carnivore Crumbles aka Browned Butter Milk Solids

Описание: A butter amount error in the video. It is two 4oz sticks that equal the brick I've used. Two regular sized sticks.

Here it is! This is the extended version of the process of making what I call carnivore crumbles.
It is probably not the video you thought you wanted, but you'll be grateful I made because you will want to make them!

I use them in many recipes and also enjoy them plain. They are just fun to add to most any treat.

Ingredients

UPDATE: I now use equal parts butter and nonfat milk powder

To make cocoa crumbles, add 20g/4T black cocoa powder along with the nonfat milk powder.

Melt butter on low.

Add milk powder, let butter absorb into powder before lightly stirring. It will be very clumpy and remain that way.

Continue to cook on low until solids are dark brown. Stirring occasionally. This will take 45 minutes or so.

Remove from heat and strain if needed.
