Procurement of additional coastal defense systems from Poland

In the second agreement, knowledge and technology regarding the maintenance and production of NSM missiles will be transferred to Wojskowe Zakłady Elektronikzne company. Under the agreement, WZE will also cooperate with the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defense & Aerospace on the delivery of new missiles to the Polish Navy.

The contract signed by PIT-RADWAR covers the construction of vehicles and four coastal defense systems. Within the scope of delivery, the company will deliver 3 Mobile Communication Centers, 1 Fleet Command Vehicle (SCV), 2 Battery Command Vehicles, 6 Command and Control Vehicles (CCV), and 1 Mobile Workshop Vehicle (MWV). In addition, each of the two fleets that make up the naval missile unit will be equipped with 1 MCC vehicle and 1 Naval Command Vehicle (NCV). The total value of the entire contract signed is over PLN 1.1 billion. Deliveries are planned to be completely completed in 2029.

In September 2023, the Polish Armament Agency signed a contract with Konsberg Gruppen for the supply of 2 fleet coastal defense systems (MJR) at the 31st International Defense Industry Fair held in Kielce, Poland. The signed contract included the supply of Coastal Defense System (NSM CDS) components for the creation of two new MJR squadrons for the Polish Navy. The value of the supply agreement is approximately PNL 8 billion ($1.5 billion).
