भारताच्या सुताचा मुख्य ग्राहक बांगलादेश आहे. पण भारतातून आयात होणाऱ्या सुतावर १० ते २० टक्के शुल्क लावण्याची बांगलादेशातील सूत उद्योगाने मागणी केली आहे. बांगलादेशने शुल्क लावल्यास भारतातून निर्यात कमी होण्याची भीती आहे. मात्र शुल्क लावण्याला बांगलादेशील कापड उद्योगानेच विरोध केला आहे.
Bangladesh is the main customer for Indian yarn. However, the yarn industry in Bangladesh has demanded that a 10 to 20 percent tariff be imposed on yarn imported from India. There are fears that if Bangladesh imposes the tariff, exports from India will decrease. However, the Bangladeshi textile industry itself has opposed the imposition of the tariff.
