VivoPower co-founder and executive chairman Kevin Chin talked with Proactive about the company’s strategic transformation into a pure-play AI data centre business and the planned spin-off of its electric vehicle division, Tembo.
Chin outlined how the company is repositioning itself to focus on AI data centres, while progressing the separation of Tembo into its own Nasdaq-listed entity. Chin explained that the Tembo spin-off has been filed with regulators and, based on typical timelines, is expected to complete toward the end of March, with an implied valuation of $838 million.
VivoPower is expected to retain approximately 49% of the EV business once the transaction is completed.
