No. Historical and theological sources show that early Christians rejected retaliation and intimidation, even when persecuted.

No. Scripture consistently calls believers to trust God’s justice rather than assert power through threats.
Why did Christians accept persecution without retaliation?
Because they believed suffering without retaliation was imitation of Christ and a witness to the truth of the gospel.
