This tribute remake is part of The Salsa Time Traveler’s Mixtape, a project dedicated to recreating the sound, arrangement style, and recording spirit of 1970s New York salsa.
All instruments and percussion were newly performed and recorded to honor the original production aesthetic — preserving the raw energy, brass character, and groove that defined the Fania era.
