Описание: Exploring this mysterious and unique cave in St Julians Malta. Its name is Harq Hamiem Cave and is situated in the hearth of Saint Julians, or Paceville ,just a few meters from the famous Saint Georges Bay. In our history was first mentioned in 1772 in a book about Malta by Count Antonio CIantar. He mentions this cave as Chark EL Hamiem in Cala San Giorgio. This is the only know cave in Malta filled with fresh water and in its second chamber goes down to 50+ meters where divers found it unites with sea water. To get down to this cave which is situated in private land, one can go down stairs carved in the rock. Hope you enjoy this uniqe cave.
