What’s for sure is that it’s getting harder and harder to determine fact from fiction online.There’s growing institutional distrust, self proclaimed “experts'' in every field disagreeing with each other. It seems like anyone can support any belief these days. How do we know if an “expert” is correctly representing the body of evidence or cherry picking research to science wash? With online algorithms set to reinforce people’s worldview, it’s easy to go down a rabbit hole, hard to know when you're in an echochamber, let alone be able to see outside of it.
