Vereda do Larano, Madeira Island, Portugal, November 2025
The entire trekking route is approximately 12 km (7.4 mi). We opted for only a short walk – 6 km (3.7 mi) there and back – but we had the chance to admire the beautiful views along the route. We started from the town of Porto da Cruz (32°45'51.7"N 16°48'44.7"W) and reached a viewpoint near Ponta do Espigao Amarelo (32°45'45.9"N 16°47'16.3"W).
