The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the crucial need for accurate and accountable
information on public health, especially regarding vaccination. Misinformation and false
myths about vaccines have caused hesitancy and reluctance to receive vaccinations, putting
individuals, communities, and the world at risk.
This problem is not limited to communities; even some health professionals lack sufficient
knowledge and training on vaccination, thus sustaining the spread of myths and fake news.
To address this issue, the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA) aims to increase awareness and literacy among health professionals about COVID-19 and its vaccination through our podcast series.
In this first episode, we are joined by Silvia Gabriela Scintee, Deputy General Director
