Hi, this is a video about the full process where I diagnose and repaired my faulty EPB on my 2013 peugeot 508.
This is an old version of electronic parking brake and specifically on those PSA cars, the ECU tend to show up a couple of faults:
U1213 - absence of communication with the stability control (ESP) ECU U1219 - Fault Automatic Release Of The Electric Parking Brake
C1552 - Force sensor fault
C155A - Electrically-controlled parking brake not calibrated
I changed the cable with an aftermarket one, because PSA only sell the entire assembly for 1500 $ +
after that, I still had issues so had to dig deeper to find out what was wrong, and I share it with you.
