Описание: ‘One-Way Ticket To The Blues’ is an auto-biographical song Gwyn Ashton wrote about his life from first starting out in a band, to relocating to the UK by putting his gear onto a container and freighting it to London, then buying a one-way air ticket to the UK, all for the sake of believing and wanting a career playing the music he loves to write.

It’s a song about hardship, determination and making a name against all odds and the struggles and obstacles you hit along the way.

It’s a very personal song about passion, dedication, integrity and never giving up on your dreams.

It’s also the first album he wrote, produced and engineered, all by following online tutorials plus some help from my mastering engineer David Mitson, who showed him how to record with a computer.

‘Two-Man Blues Army’, with local drummer Dave Small hitting the skins, won some awards and got great press. Robert Plant even expressed his admiration for this project that propelled him into the world of DIY recording.

On the strength of this album David Mitson and Ashton were asked by Apple to conduct a ‘Made On A Mac’ workshop at the Birmingham Apple Store.
