On 16 February 2022 HURIDOCS, PILPG and The Engine Room presented a demo session on Uwazi.
Uwazi is a web-based database application designed for human rights defenders to manage collections of information, including documents, evidence, cases and complaints. The demo sessions also covered Uwazi’s upcoming integration with Tella, an open source mobile application for data collection, developed by Horizontal.
In attendance were human rights organisations who are either actively documenting violations and interested in improving their workflows, or interested in launching a new documentation initiative with the support of a tech tool.
