A LEVEL RESULTS DAY 2020: MY EXPERIENCE

Well today is the day!
Thousands of students including myself recieved their A Level Results. While many students have got the uni places they wanted, many were rejected and this wasn’t their fault. For those of you watching in the future, 2020 exams were cancelled due to COVID and as a result, grades were calculated using centre assessed grades, pupils’ past attainment and schools’ historical data. This meant that of course some results were not going to be as good as if students sat their exams.
In this video I discuss my hopes pre results day and talk about my feelings on the grades i received. I also experienced the problems with this year’s grade calculation algorithm as everyone in our Religious Studies class got downgraded so i will be appealing the grade they have given me. On a positive note, I’m going to the university of Sunderland to study Media Production which I’m over the moon with as this was my firm and the uni i had set my heart on.
