After just three weeks here in Penang, I’ve noticed something I didn’t expect — a quiet sense of togetherness between different religions, cultures and communities.

From a heartfelt conversation with a taxi driver…
To visiting a mosque and a Buddhist temple in George Town…
To witnessing how Malaysians celebrate Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Deepavali and Christmas side by side…

It made me wonder:

Is harmony connected to religion?
Is it about commitment and accountability?
And what happens when 37% of a country identifies as non-religious — like in the United Kingdom?

This video isn’t about criticising any belief.
It’s about curiosity.

If religion creates community, accountability and shared values…
How can those of us who are non-religious still live aligned, intentional, harmonious lives?

I share how I’m shifting from meditation to contemplation of personal values — and why that might be my version of “showing up” daily.
