The NYC 100 #2 - The Search for the Macy's Floats

Part 2 is a behind the scenes look at the Macy's Day Parade balloons/floats that reside around the Museum of Natural History the night before the parade itself. I'd never been to this 'event' before and most people don't know it exists...but it just seemed like those giant floats had to be somewhere so why not where the parade starts, obviously!

Each episode is a cinematic micro-documentary reframed from immersive 360° footage into polished 4K narrative form, blending art, story, and technology. These videos are created using a multi-step, uniquely abstract reframing process. Many of the videos also include moments captured using a mixed reality mobile app I created called Spherio, and include the tagline 'You know what time it is'.

Each video is also reproduced and shared in portrait format and also clipped and released as shorts. The videos are created and intended to be consumed as landscapes and viewed in their highest resolution (4K).
