Two sisters go out on an international trip to Bangkok and lots of adventure unfolds.
This is the first of my Thailand series episodes that will take you through our journey from Kolkata to Krabi, Krabi to Phi Phi Island, Phi Phi to Phuket, Phuket to Bangkok and finally Bangkok to Kolkata.
The first episode in all about exploring Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, introducing myself to 7-Eleven departmental stores, trying meat preparations sold like street food in Thailand, and taking another flight to Krabi.
Our trip happened in September 2023 and we had to get our Visas back then as it wasn't free for Indians. Our application was filled online and we got our Visas from VFS Global Visa Application Center at Rene Towers.
The sim cards cost us around 650INR each and was valid for one week. They were priorly booked via Klook. But you can get sim cards from Thailand with your valid ID proof (passport) from the airport directly.
You will have to pay Baht at the airport before having your dollars exchanged. It is recommended to exchange currency locally and not at airports as usually charge more than what the actual price should be.
