Stranded on an Alaskan Island - 2 Days Camping & Fishing

Описание: Jenny and I took a water taxi out of Lowell Point (just outside of Seward, Alaska) to a remote island on Resurrection Bay for 2 days of camping and fishing. The rain was pretty heavy at points, but I built us a tarp lean-to shelter for coverage, and our 2-person backpacking tent kept us warm and dry. Despite my best efforts, I didn't catch any fish - which believe it or not is the first time I've been skunked while fishing saltwater! Jenny cooked up an awesome breakfast of eggs, ham, and cinnamon pancakes the first morning, and we made some ground turkey burritos for dinner. Food just tastes so much better when you're out in the wild!
