Supa Emcee, one of Detroit’s most renowned hip-hop artists, has just released two powerful
new works: The Obsidian and its sequel The Fallen One. These two projects are his resurgence
after a tragic car accident that almost took his life. Through these two projects, listeners can
experience a spiritual journey from darkness to light, and they will feel as though they are in the
front seat of a turbulent, victorious, yet beautiful ride.

Supa Emcee is no stranger to the Detroit hip-hop scene. He has been a member of the
Almighty Dreadnaughtz and the Detroit Hip-Hop label Iron Fist, headed by the late great Big
Proof of D-12. During his career, he has also toured with Detroit Hip Hop icons Phat Kat and
Guilty Simpson, also has been featured on projects dedicated to the late musical J. Dilla.
His currentdiscography includes 14 projects, and with the addition of Obsidian-The Fallen One, it brings his
total body of work to 16.

Supa Emcee is now the CEO of his own label, Prooven Records, which is named after Proof.
He is also in partnership with Mama Shu’s Sun Boy Records Who? Mag
