Описание: A walk around Queens Plaza in Long Island City. Queens Plaza sits at the foot of the Queensboro Bridge and has completely changed over the years (gentrification). Since the early 2000's new towers are going up everywhere and corporations have moved in. MetLife was one of the first big companies to move into Queens Plaza. In 2012, JetBlue moved its headquarters to Queens Plaza North.

It's a transportation hub that is served by the 7 & N train above ground Queensboro Plaza station and the subterranean Queens Plaza station with the E, R, and M trains. Plus buses into Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens.

The Queens Clocktower, which you can see in Queens Plaza North, was the tallest commercial building in Queens for 60 years. The 14-story building was built in 1927 as the Bank of Manhattan Building. Recently landmarked, it is dwarfed by the massive newly-opened Sven, a 762-foot-tall skyscraper, which cradles the Clocktower at its base.
