Описание: Floodland returns to the channel as we take a look at the Spring Tide update, a big update to the game that fixes bugs, introduces new clans to play as and also adds a building of huge global importance... the mushroom picker's hut!

We play as The Commune, a group of people all about looking ahead to the future, embracing diversity and allowing personal growth. That's right, we play as a group of hippies! Let the hippies unite the people of the ruined Earth and start again!

We begin by scavenging a few basic resources so we can build some basics, like simple tents and some field kitchens. We also set up our research building where we look at the technology of the past to help us unlock new things. Weirdly we have to use research points to unlock planks, which doesn't really seem like a good use of such points, but there we go!

Soon enough we have a repaired radio tower, we meet another clan and there's a little bit of a food issue, but we muddle through. Well... sort of...

Update 1.2 – NEW TIDE
Floodland has been relaunched with a complete code overhaul fixing all major reported bugs, PLUS some awesome new content, leaving you with a new world ready to build!
As well as core fixes, we’ve also introduced three new starting islands, bringing the total to four. These will randomly spawn when you start the game, making each experience different.
As you progress through the resource tree you’ll also find a new building - the Mushroom Picker Hut is the perfect way to continue develop you food supply.
There’s more! Law system updates, 10 new events, a new achievement on steam and 8 new clans all come to this game overhaul.

Unite Humanity - Shape Society
The climate change was a catalyst for a succession of events that led to the destruction of our world; rising sea levels have inundated the coasts. Only you can help humanity survive by leading your band of survivors on a path to redemption. Starting with a lost bunch of survivors, you need to scavenge resources, rediscover technology and maintain the peace between differing factions as you strive to rebuild society.

Explore and Exploit
The world - as you know it - has gone, replaced by islands, swamps and isolated groups of survivors. Gathering scarce resources, you need to explore the world - island by island - helping those you can and dealing with those who do not share your vision of the future.

Grow Your Colony
There's more to a city than just people. Food, shelter, water, health, security - the list is long and varied. Technology to be researched along a branching Tech-Tree, buildings upgraded and specialists to train. It's down to you to make sure all these needs are fulfilled; a job made all the harder with limited resources, space and labour to complete these tasks.

You Are the Law
A society is only as good as its laws; it's up to you to define them. Will you usher in a new utopian age of equality or is your future a benign dictatorship? Not every group shares your vision and the choices you make can have a profound impact on the future of your settlement. A common goal will make your society more productive than one at loggerheads with itself; you need to define and choose your legal evolution and which route to follow on the Law-Tree but - as with all things - there are always consequences.

Unlimited Playthroughs
Each game is different; maps, events and make up of the world are randomly generated, allowing unique playthroughs every time.
