Besides processing of wooden work pieces, KUNDIG Sanders are used for many other sanding tasks and materials. In this case, rock wool is calibrated on a sander that is soon to be delivered to its customer. The main challenge with materials like these is the highly abrasive dust produced by the sanding process. In order to avoid accelerated wear on critical machine parts, many measures have to be taken. Thanks to extensive experience with processing of such materials and many machines delivered to companies with similar applications, we can safely say that this machine will run for decades, just like any other wide belt sander.
