An unedited travelogue film made by Arthur and Kate Tode in 1930, depicting then Canton [now Guangdong] China, in the pre-Revolution period.
Some footage of people in traditional dress, footage of the countryside and rice paddies from a train window. arriving in an unidentified city, [Guangdong?] where there are more shots taken from a moving car or rickshaw of street-life in the city. Men play cards outside. Later, a temple. An upper-class Chinese family as tourists.
