A selection of Highlights from our trip to Silverstone on the 16th and 17th of September to race with the Track Attack Race Club.
This weekend featured three races, the first of which was a special bonus race for those who had missed the second race at Oulton Park.
Having never been to Silverstone Rob was a bit apprehensive about having to go straight into a race weekend. Research of lap times from the MX5 Supercup revealed that a lap time in the 1:08's should be achievable as a minimum for the Yoshi car, so Rob set out to find that along side the goal of having a clean weekend and finishing all the races to make sure he got the necessary signatures on the race licence!
The weekend was a great deal of fun with its fair share of thrills and spills. We came away with plenty of lessons learned and loads more experience ready for next season.
We're off to Anglesey in November to take part in the final round of the Clubsport Trophy. Hope to see you there!
