SIMPLE TWISTED CAST OFF
The Twisted Bind Off creates a nice twisted edge that matches the Cable Cast On edge. Purl the first stitch as normal, before purling the next stitch insert your left hand knitting needle from left to right on the front loop of the right hand knitting needle. Remove the stitch from the knitting needle and place it back on, letting the stitch twist. Repeat one more time to the same stitch. Purl the next stitch and pass the first twisted stitch over the one just purled. Repeat from beginning until all the stitches are bound off. You can also use a crochet hook of similar size, or one larger to help Bind Off loosely, to twist the stitches. Treat the crochet hook as a knitting needle and purl the first stitch, then rotate the top of the crochet hook away from you down and then toward to twist the stitch.
