This is the second episode in this video series:
• Series | The Woman in Me
Feel free to follow along as more episodes will be released! Through this project, I hope to explore the hidden narratives Britney weaves into her music—particularly the story of the woman within her.
--------------------------------
This song, Ouch, is an unreleased track by Britney Spears. In the latter half, I incorporated my own reinterpretation. Initially, I only intended to create a remix, but the song sparked so much inspiration that I essentially composed a 2.0 version of it. I then combined both versions into a single piece, hoping you’ll enjoy it!
Before creating this video, I read The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir, which explores women’s historically passive role in society and their path to reclaiming subjectivity. Ouch challenges traditional female roles, depicting a woman who seizes control and reverses the power dynamics in what first appears to be an unequal relationship. This aligns with de Beauvoir’s philosophy: women should not merely be the “other” who is chosen—they have the power to dictate their own destiny and even take the lead.
The MV’s central male figure is played by Alexander Skarsgård, a deliberate casting choice. Because his presence perfectly embodies the atmosphere of the song. In fact, I can hardly think of anyone more fitting for this role. With his natural apex predator aura, he becomes the ideal subject for Britney’s “experiment” in this MV. His character represents the archetype of an elite man—accustomed to being admired and pursued by women, always in control. Yet this time, the power dynamic is overturned, and it is the woman who truly holds all the control.
In Womanizer, Britney assumes multiple identities to put a high-status man to the test. This time, however, the experiment takes on a more enigmatic tone. The three Britneys represent three personas that Britney herself has alluded to over the years:
1. Britney Spears
2. Mona Lisa
3. Xila Maria River Red
I also drew inspiration from the 1957 book The Three Faces of Eve, which explores a woman with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) who exhibits three distinct personalities. The book was later adapted into a film that significantly shaped public understanding of dissociative identity.
However, the "three Britneys" in the Ouch MV lean more toward an artistic fusion of both concepts, particularly in terms of dissociation and self-exploration. I wanted to approach Britney’s transformation through the lens of performance art. She could have easily remained the perfect pop princess, but instead, she chose a darker path.
For more stories about the "three Britneys," I will continue to explore them in future videos.

Any videos I create are purely out of "love for Britney." Using AI to bring my dreams, such as for songs that never had music videos released, has always been a regret of mine. So, I turn the fantasies in my mind into real visuals.
The Britney in the video isn't real. Though she may appear to sing and dance, she can never replace the real Britney. I hope the real Britney can come back.
Please note that all the videos I create are not directly generated by AI. I use special effects software like Adobe After Effects and editing tools like Premiere for extensive editing and post-production to achieve better results. So, you can think of my work as "3D music video creations that look a bit more realistic" as I first create character models and then utilize various materials for post-production, You can also consider my video as an "After Effects video effects showcase".)
