Today we visited One Pillar Pagoda (Chùa Một Cột) and the Quan Âm statue within the Diên Hựu Pagoda complex in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Built in 1049 during the Lý Dynasty, One Pillar Pagoda was designed as a lotus rising from water — a symbol of purity, compassion, and spiritual balance. Nearby, the Quan Âm statue stands quietly in an enclosed courtyard, representing mercy and kindness in Vietnamese Buddhism.
