A bit of a gloomy start to the New Year here in Noosa with thick cloud and a fine sprinkling of rain at the river mouth. A light 3 to 5 knot southerly breeze blowing and a small rolling swell on the bar. Not many boats heading out while I was there. BOM forecast is for variable winds about 10 knots becoming easterly 10 to 15 knots in the early morning. Seas: Below 1 metre. Swell: South easterly 1 to 1.5 metres inshore, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres offshore. Weather: Partly cloudy with a 70% chance of showers. The chance of a thunderstorm during the morning and afternoon. Filmed between 5.25am and 5.45am which was just coming up to a 2.09m high tide. Background Music: 'I Had a Feeling'... by TrackTribe.
