The first ever build I made was the Fiend Knight, a STR based Blade Pact Warlock. It's a much beloved build of mine, and in this video, I'm remaking it for the 2024 rules update. This build is a nova or burst damage character, but also packs excellent sustained damage output (actually the best I've made for 2024 up to this point). And it's done with a primarily defensive subclass. Because both Warlocks and Fighters are mostly short rest based, this character can do its main thing multiple times per adventuring day, provided you ration resources appropriately.
Overall, the changes to both fighters and warlocks helped this build quite a bit, even though some things (like GWM and Hurl Through Hell) were nerfed.
