Wandering Tokyo #27 Love & Lug Shinjuku to Brompton Tokyo
A Tokyo ride from the LOVE monument to Brompton Tokyo.
Starting at the famous LOVE monument in Shinjuku,
the ride begins with breakfast at LUG, a bicycle-friendly café in Hatagaya.
From there, the route slips through Shinjuku’s backstreets and heads toward Yotsuya.
Along the way are quiet corners of the city such as Sakamachi’s slopes and alleys,
Muchi no Ike pond, and Suga Shrine — places where a calmer side of Tokyo can still be found.
Avoiding the busy main roads, this ride connects small streets and hidden scenery,
ending at Brompton Tokyo.
A gentle urban wander where the familiar city feels a little new again.

新宿の「LOVE」モニュメントをスタートし、
幡ヶ谷の自転車フレンドリーなカフェ LUG で朝ごはん。
そこから新宿の裏道をのんびり抜けて、四谷エリアへ向かいます。
坂町の路地や鞭の池、須賀神社など、
都会の中にひっそり残る風景をめぐりながら、
最後は Brompton Tokyo まで。
にぎやかな大通りではなく、
少し静かな東京の表情をつなぐブロンプトン散歩。
いつもの街が少し違って見えるルートです。
