Snowmobiling into the Chic Chocs! | Day 1 - Riviere Du Loup to Cap Chat | Gaspe Snowmobile Trip 2026

Описание: We’re officially back in the Gaspe and there is truly nothing like riding out here. We rolled out from Hôtel Universel in Riviere-du-Loup and put on 418 KM all the way to Village Grande Nature in Saint-Octave-de-l’Avenir, right in the heart of the Chic-Chocs.

Lunch stop? Domaine Valga – one of our favourite spots. Amazing food, beautiful setting, and the perfect mid-ride reset before climbing back into elevation.

The trails were absolutely exceptional and once we got up into the mountains… the views were next level. The Chic-Chocs just hit different. Wide open spaces, big elevation, and that true backcountry mountain feel you simply can’t replicate anywhere else.

We wrapped up the night at Village Grande Nature, surrounded by mountains and already fired up for Day 2 as we venture even deeper into the Chic-Chocs.

If the Gaspésie isn’t on your bucket list yet… it should be. This place is seriously special and every sledder needs to experience it at least once.
