Over 247 members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) were detained or arrested in raids across seven states on Tuesday, five days after a similar pan-India crackdown against the group, which is often accused of being linked to radical Islam
State police teams launched raids at premises linked to PFI in Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Delhi, Maharashtra, Assam and Madhya Pradesh.
Meanwhile, in Goa, 4 Bangladeshi nationals have been detained by ATS for overstaying in India.
