Parts of south-western Poland were flooded on Sunday after continuously heavy rain, with the township of Kamienna Gora bearing the brunt of the flooding. Rainfall that started on Saturday caused the river Bobr and smaller creeks to burst their banks and flood surrounding villages. Officials and locals said they were awoken by rising waters at around three in the morning local time.
