Описание: 25K is another artist we spoke to last December, on the 16th, when A-Reece hosted the Johannesburg leg of Slime Invasion at Zone 6 in Diepkloof, Soweto. Fresh off his first SAMA win, our conversation with The Plug touched on his contentious Best Hip-Hop Album of the Year victory at the 31st Annual South African Music Awards (SAMA31) for his sophomore album, Loyal To The Plug: The Life & Times of Don Kilograms. Some hip-hop heads felt that Loatinover Pounds’ critically acclaimed debut album, Pray 4 Pitori, which was also nominated, deserved the win.

25K also reflected on a career highlight from 2025, when Kwesta recruited him, alongside A-Reece and Touchline, for the Castle Lite Unlocks experience at the Goldrush Dome—a build-up event to Travis Scott’s highly anticipated Circus Maximus show later that day at FNB Stadium.

The interesting 15-minute conversation concluded with discussions about new music he is currently working on, including collaborations with upcoming producers, his PiFF Audio close friends, and Maglera Doe Boy.
