Today we are comparing the detune of two BOSS pedals: the PS-6 Harmonist and the MO-2 Multi Overtone. Both approach detune in somewhat different ways and have very different feature sets, but both can do detune so we have to compare them. The MO-2 modes 1 and 2 can get you that 80's and early 90's detune vibe if you keep the rest of the knobs low. Things get crazy fast on this pedal. The PS-6 has a detune setting with a bunch of "hidden" positions, but the ones you'll likely want for the 80's and 90's detune vibe are all the way forward by 5 o clock. You have the +10/-10 cents and +5/-5 cents settings here.
To top it all off, I add in the BOSS SDE-3 for that nice 80's delay with lots of feedback.
