SATURDAY May 16th, 2020 TOPIC:
"The Changing Face of the Industry"
Research shows that human beings are tribal by nature. We can’t help but gravitate towards people who remind us of ourselves. But have we taken this natural tendency to a counterproductive extreme? If you’re a firearms trainer, a gun-industry product vendor, or a Second Amendment advocate of any kind, you can’t afford to idle in your social or political comfort zone. This session will take an honest look at how the pro-gun community can become less insular and reach audiences beyond the echo chamber.



SUNDAY May 17th, 2020 TOPIC: The Four-Count Draw:
Defensive training often focuses just on “the fun part" (shooting). But before you can find your front sight, you've got to get your gun! This session will teach the four-step method of handgun presentation from concealment, specifically for practical defensive contexts. We’ll do lots of reps, both dry and live, to habituate the steps required to access a holstered handgun reliably, efficiently, and safely. We’ll also discuss the pros and cons of several different carry methods to help each attendee make informed decisions about how she can best incorporate concealed carry into her everyday routine.



WHAT CAN I EXPECT? "The Mingle" is an INVITE ONLY VIP event for women in the firearms/self defense industry held at our private range in Dahlonega, GA. This is a 2 day event with sponsors, guest speakers, DOOR PRIZES, special block on Saturday shooting HKs, a full day on the range Sunday with blocks of firearms training with top tier instructors! There are only 50 spots available on Saturday and 28 spots available on Sunday so we use the "first come first serve" system.

WHO IS INVITED? We will be inviting females (local or otherwise) that work in the firearms industry, biz owners (managers and team members), club presidents and board members, professional shooters, tactical and shooting instructors, ladies of influence in all aspects of the self defense/martial arts, and in the biz professionals that are 2nd Amendment political supporters. This is a great opportunity for instructors to continue their OWN education.

Please make note that "ladies of influence in all aspects of the self defense" has a very large range...IDPA? USPSA? GADPA? NRA? GCO? OTHER WAYS YOU SUPPORT? LET ME KNOW!

This year we have put a "hold" on guests inviting people outside of the firearms industry to attend. We would like to give as many industry folks the opportunity to participate as possible. BUT BUT BUT, when we get a bit closer to event weekend, and if we have spots open, I will let yall know and you can invite a friend to Day 1 ($25) and to Day 2 ($160 = must be an experience shooter).
