Meerssen is a Town in the Limburg province in South-eastern Netherlands. The beautiful Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament is a must watch place in Meerssen. It was a 14th century church and became a basilica when Pope Pius XI paid a visit to the church in 1938. It is located on market square with a few restaurants.
