Here I am covering another Genesis song. This time, my favorite from 1981's Abacab album.
The gear:
Roland GR-300 guitar synthesizer (the blue blinking box)
with guitar controllers Roland G-505 (shown) and G-202 (not shown)
Korg Kronos 2: CP70/CE1 chorus electric grand piano sound by Purgatory Creek, and KARMA arpeggiator
Other synth sounds by the Roland SD-50 (not shown)
Recorded bass is actually a Rickenbacker 2030GF, which sounds very similar to the doubleneck shown but would have looked even more ridiculous in this context
Vocal mic used was actually a GA-251. Literally for show are a vintage Beyerdynamic M88N(C) and EV RE16.
Drum machines are a vintage Roland CR-78, synced to Pro Tools MIDI beat clock with a CHD CR78 programmer, and a Boss DR-880 (for the regular kit sounds).
Guitar amps used were a Roland JC-90, Session Sessionette 75, and Fender CyberTwin set to Bassman.
