India shocks Pakistan with its clever move

Описание: ​After the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, India is no longer obligated to share water flow data with Pakistan. Therefore, when India released water into the Jhelum River, Pakistan had no prior information about the flow data. Suddenly, the water level in the Jhelum River rose, creating a flood-like situation in Pakistan-​ occupied Kashmir, forcing the declaration of an emergency there. Pakistan had been preparing for a drought, but instead, it faced flood-like conditions.

India took this step very cleverly. Earlier, India had consistently issued statements that not even a single drop of water would be allowed to flow into Pakistan. As a result, Pakistan assumed that India would block the water. But suddenly, India released the water without warning, for which Pakistan was completely unprepared.

Currently, India does not have the infrastructure to store large volumes of water from the Indus River system, as it was prohibited under the Indus Water Treaty. However, after the suspension of the treaty, India will now speed up the construction of such infrastructure. India will also make significant changes to the unfair Indus Treaty, taking into account present-day realities.
