A 42-year-old man is charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses after New Jersey State Police say he fired shots at troopers while fleeing a traffic stop in Millville.
State police say the incident began around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Fourth and Sassafras streets, where two troopers stopped a silver Hyundai Santa Fe with two occupants inside.
