We picked you up again two hours into the guided tour as our guide, Pui, led us to the next iconic landmark.

Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha)

Wat Pho is one of Bangkok’s oldest and most significant temples, located near the Grand Palace. It is best known for its massive Reclining Buddha statue, which measures 46 meters long and 15 meters high, covered in gold leaf. The statue represents the Buddha entering Nirvana, a symbol of peace and enlightenment. Key features include:

Central Prang (Main Spire): A towering structure about 70–79 meters high, adorned with colorful porcelain and seashell mosaics.
