Traffic in Canggu can get quite bad but you have to learn to live with it and go with the flow. Getting frustrated and impatient is not a good idea. Always allow yourself more time to get anywhere especially around sunset time on the Canggu shortcut as it can get bad. Holidaying in Canggu is all about accepting the traffic conditions and leaving early in the morning for tours and giving yourself an extra 30-45 minutes travel time. This also goes for other parts of Bali like Uluwatu.
