In the year 1996, I (CeStyle of Total Pack aka Corey Drumz) was commissioned by MC Serch of 3rd Bass (also credited with discovering Nas), to produce the first single for his new group, Non Phixion. He also asked me to feature on the song as the first rapper on the track to set the tone of the track. This is that track. Legacy.
Originally, I created this beat for a song with me and my Hollis Queens mc brother Pop Mega. We had done a demo of a song we were just playing around with on one of my beats. I let MC Serch hear that demo song and he instantly fell in love with the beat, wanting to buy it for his new artists, Non Phixion. I agreed, and history was made.
